NOW ARCHIVED
Hello! Welcome! Bonjour, wait that's just hello in French, whatever, to my first article of the first break. WARNING: This article was poorly written and those five words are my quick but truly sincere acknowledgment. I had to rush this article to some last-second difficulties, leaving a mere hour for this.
Sometimes we just need to rant about the things that don't need to be ranted on. Simple, point made, point made fact. Now that you know why I am venting to you about useless things, let me prove a point. We call the break in the summer, the Summer Break. We for the most part also all the break in the winter, the Winter Break alongside the Holiday/Christmas break. Yet, we always call the break that usually takes place during the beginning of Spring, the March Break and rarely, at where I am, the Spring Break.
Since I didn't know where else to place this, here you go.
The Spring Break Project: Truly Great
The Spring Break Project was invented to rid the world of all evil through the use of writing. It is the pinnacle of human success with nothing even coming close to rivalling it. A website that is so prestigious that it changed the whole industry for the better. Revolutionizing every aspect of the academic world and society's problems. Using the universe’s elements for good rather than the more intriguing and perhaps more exciting evil.
This fantastic site has everything that everybody needs at all times wherever they are. For instance. a virtual snow cone machine that feels so realistic that you prefer it over the real deal. We have created the first bio-artificial intelligence robot that has left the top scientists baffled and in awe. Alas, our most impressive accomplishment is solving the moon’s fire problem, where we built a miniature water gun, modelled after the Star Wars Death Star of course, that sprayed the moon, avoiding the laws of gravity.
Finally, we have also helped to popularize the three-paragraph system and this sentence is definitely not just an excuse of getting out finding a reason to write two more paragraphs. Our contributions are incredibly noteworthy and have sustained the imprinting time has left on them. There are only more adventures to be had, probably, hopefully. La Fin.
If you haven’t noticed, by the way, this is all sarcasm. I did not even leave the smallest footprint on my articles of which I have not written. I did not have a virtual snow cone machine that feels so realistic, the first bio-artificial intelligence robot whatever that is, solving the moon’s supposed fire problem with a tiny round space station, nor popularizing the three-paragraph structure.
Well, let’s start with the fact that I am calling this project specifically, the April Break Project. Due to COVID-19, the traditional Spring Break was postponed a full month and I didn't want to pass up on the supposed LIFETIME opportunity on calling this the April Break as I may not have another glorious opportunity to do so.
Why are we not regularly calling the break in March the Spring Break? To be fair it is called different things for different educational ranges. Yet, there is not much to say after that, the argument is relatively simple. What else can I say? Even though the word Spring has a letter more than March, it still has the same syllable count of one. The case has been presented and it is left up to you to decide on your pointless actions regarding this pointless topic. Even if you agreed with me, what would we do, protest a name change?
I forgot about a few essays/articles so here is one mine from a few years ago. This article was for a prompt about a very influential person and I chose Kawhi Leonard because of the whole Toronto Raptor championship. It might be worthwhile to read this as a flash into the past of a summary of the 2019 Summer events.
Kawhi Leonard 2019 Summary
Kawhi Leonard is one of the most notable individuals of 2019 for Canada, especially in the City of Toronto. He was an essential member of the Toronto Raptors, which led to their first NBA championship in history. Canadians across the nation rooted for this dominant force which took down the Golden State Warrior dynasty.
To understand this moment, it is critical to comprehend how Leonard got himself into this situation in the first place. In the 2018 NBA offseason, Toronto traded their best player of the team, DeMar DeRozan, to San Antonio for an injured Kawhi Leonard. This was a very risky move for the Raptors, especially when considering Leonard’s health status. Leonard eventually recovered by occasionally sitting out games to reserve his energy for the NBA Playoffs.
Leonard is a hard-working man striving to achieve a straightforward goal with an even temperament. Many assume he’s a robot with his astonishing performance. Leonard also does not have a social media presence whatsoever, which just shows that Leonard is aware of his surroundings and tends to not hide behind a screen.
When Kawhi Leonard led the Toronto Raptors to win the NBA Championship, this event would soon be recognized as a truly significant moment in basketball history. In the end, Leonard was crowned Finals MVP, a rather well-deserved title. On June 14, 2019, the City of Toronto threw the Raptors a parade where over one million Canadians attended.
Above all, Kawhi Leonard has had a massive influence on 2019 for many Canadians. His overall impact has been truly positive by inspiring future generations of basketball fans to continue their passion because of the hope he had brought. Leonard is currently a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, his hometown team.
This is the end of day one already?!?! Well, that was quick and in the future, the articles will be much (by much, I mean much) longer. Also, a fun fact is that the reason this website is named the Spring Break Project is because of the ideology of spring break-ism.
Wait what's that. You want to hear about Spring Break-ism, you got it. Spring Break-ism refers to the revolutionary idea that all regular breaks taking place in the Spring should be called Spring Break, rather than the month they're in (this year's an exception). We say Summer Break not Labour Day Break and we also have started saying Winter Break than Christmas Break. Fall/Autumn Break should also exist but that is beside the point.
Hints for tomorrow's article title:
It rhymes with the fish being found in the 2016 movie
Includes the synonym for 'a few'
It is something we all tell and hear
